In 2021, BCDHA and CDHA conducted wage and employment surveys. Come and hear how salaries and benefits are fairing for BC dental hygienists who work in clinical practice.

Objectives:

1. Describe the employment climate for BC dental hygienists.
2. Use data to identify if your salary is on par with the rest of your colleagues.
3. Articulate your financial contribution to your employer to advocate for appropriate salary and benefits compensation.
4. Identify strategies that will assist you with approaching your employer for a wage review or increase in your benefits package.
