Tiffany Norbjerg
BCDHA Board of Director Elections (Vancouver Island)
I’m Tiffany Norbjerg, a mother of two young children and a third-generation Comox Valley local. I’ve been a dental hygienist for over 14 years, starting with my diploma from Camosun College and later completing my Bachelor of Dental Science at UBC.
I’ve lived and worked across the province in a variety of practice settings, including periodontal offices, a general anesthesia facility with various specialties including pediatrics and endodontics as well as public health, and now independent practice ownership.
Experiencing airway and oral health challenges with my own children inspired me to pursue further education and later certification in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT). I support families in my independent dental hygiene practice improving airway and orofacial myofunctional disorders.
Advocacy for persons with disabilities is especially dear to my heart. I serve as a committee member of the Independent Practice Fee Guide and on the BCDHA JEDI committee, promoting accessible care and supporting the growth of independent dental hygiene practice.
