Celebrating National Dental Hygienists Week: Oral Health for Total Health

Celebrate National Dental Hygienists Week™

April is Oral Health Month, and an important part of this celebration is National Dental Hygienists Week™ (NDHW™), which runs from April 4-10. Focusing on the importance of maintaining good oral health practices while emphasizing the role of the dental hygiene profession in preventing and treating oral health problems. The week’s theme, “Oral Health for Total Health,” reminds us that taking care of our mouth, teeth, and gums has a positive impact on other aspects of our lives.

This April, let’s help everyone in BC learn about oral health for total health. Together we can raise awareness of the importance of good oral health, promote prevention and early detection of oral health problems, and connect the public with the professionals who can help.
