With this chat we will cover the different environments and conditions dental therapists in BC must work with.

Brenda Isaac is First Nations from Lytton, BC. Belonging to the Nlhakapamux Nation. Part of the Interior Salish. Brenda retired from dental therapy with 28 years experience working with Indigenous communities. She graduated from the National School of Dental Therapy in 1978 when the school was still located in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories.

Throughout her career she has traveled extensively throughout the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and British Columbia. Providing much needed oral health services in many underserved communities.

For the last 14 years Brenda specialized in working with children 0 to 7 years of age under the Children’s Oral Health Initiative.
