Alves\, has lectured nationally with a focus on radiology. Her experience spans nearly 25 years. She earned her AS in Dental Hygiene from Bristol Community College in Fall River\, Mass. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from UMass-Dartmouth and a Masters of Education from Eastern Nazarene College. She has experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry servicing patients with special needs. She is a full-time professor of Dental Hygiene at Cape Cod Community College where she facilitates extra mural rotations\, teaches Community Dental Health\, Radiology and Radiology labs.
