A Social Story for Children With Autism

As part of our commitment to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI), we’ve created a free Autism Social Story to support patients with autism during dental hygiene visits.

Social stories help individuals prepare for new or overwhelming experiences by explaining what to expect in a simple, visual format. Knowing that personalized versions can be costly, we developed this resource to be accessible to all—whether you’re a dental hygienist sharing it with a patient or a parent preparing a child for an appointment.This resource is now available to download and share in your practice or community.
