The survey closes September 22
In 2023, BCDHA launched a new graduate wage survey to provide accurate and reliable information regarding current entry-level compensation packages for recent graduate dental hygienist members. The survey was a great success, and it is being done again this year to assist future students and this year’s new graduates in their initial employment negotiations and future employment reviews.
This survey is anonymous. Any information provided here will be made available to DH students, 2024 new graduates and educators only. Employers will not be given access to this information.
After the survey results have been compiled, a formal report will be sent to educators and shared on the BCDHA Student Resources page on the BCDHA website. Educators will share the results with next year’s DH students and help them interpret the data to understand the current compensation packages in B.C. Recent graduates can access the information on the BCDHA website to ensure their compensation is aligned with their colleagues. This information will also provide the BCDHA the opportunity to better understand the labour market and to help provide new and future students with accurate information to negotiate compensation packages moving forward.
