Curves Ahead: Successful Implementation of Left and Right Ultrasonic Instruments

May 7, 2026 @ 6:30 pm

Curved left and right ultrasonic instruments have distinct traits that disrupt and remove biofilm, surpassing the capabilities of other instruments. In this session, Dani will ignite your enthusiasm and strengthen your clinical knowledge as she guides you on how this unique technology can and should be an integral part of debridement procedures. This webinar aims to provide an interactive experience from the comfort and convenience of your own home. Via a specialized camera, Dani incorporates live demonstrations and if a typodont and curved inserts are available, participants are encouraged to follow along.

Objectives:

  • Examine the clinical benefits of curved left and right ultrasonic instruments over straight ultrasonic instruments and hand instruments.
  • Discuss how incorporating curved ultrasonic instruments into periodontal debridement procedures can enhance your patient’s comfort.
  • Explain how to adapt a variety of surfaces of curved instruments in furcations, concavities and at the CEJ.
