Course Description: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is already transforming oral health practice, from radiograph interpretation to automated charting, insurance claims, and patient engagement. While these tools offer exciting opportunities to improve efficiency and care, they also introduce new challenges around privacy, data security, and cybercrime.
Dental AI 101: Embracing Innovation, Protecting Privacy is an introductory course designed for the entire dental team. Using plain language and real-world examples, this course explains what AI is, how it is used in dentistry and daily life, and what every team member needs to know to embrace innovation responsibly while safeguarding patient trust.

– Define AI in simple terms and explain the differences between Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI.
– Identify everyday applications of AI both inside and outside the dental office.
