Mastering Home Care To Achieve Superior Oral Health

May 26 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Kerry Lepicek will present a review of home care tools that can enhance patients’ routines and treatment outcomes. Dental professionals must prioritize daily biofilm disruption to maintain oral health and prevent dental issues.

In this session, we will evaluate traditional home care solutions like manual toothbrushes and floss, while stressing the need for additional strategies. We’ll explore various interdental brushes, focusing on their sizes and bristle configurations to meet the individual needs of patients. Tips for choosing the right brush size will also be shared.

We’ll highlight specialty brushes, such as tufted or Interspace designs, which are essential for accessing difficult areas, especially around implants and bridges. Our aim is to improve patients’ adherence to home care practices and enhance their oral health outcomes, empowering them to achieve effective care at home.
