Student Grant Application BCDHA allocates funds to provide financial support to our student members who undertake activities that will serve to raise the profile of the profession and to increase the public’s understanding of the dental hygiene profession. The grant is also intended to increase students’ understanding of BCDHA’s role and its importance to professional development. Applications will be accepted from students enrolled in a BC program that leads to a diploma or degree in dental hygiene. Please note: Only one approved grant per school per academic year. Criteria Projects must be student driven and support the Association’s strategic goal to increase the public’s awareness of dental hygiene and its contribution toward oral and overall health. Applications must include details outlining the project plan. All student member applications must include an endorsement for the project signed by a program faculty member.
