This course was created in collaboration with the First Nations Health Authority and funded by BC’s Ministry of Health. It is tailored specifically for oral health professionals and offered free to BCDHA members.
The training highlights Indigenous patients’ experiences, Elders’ wisdom, and insights unique to oral health in BC. Developed with input from both Indigenous and non-Indigenous dental care providers, including members of BCDHA and CDA Alliance, it offers a comprehensive understanding of Cultural Safety and Humility in oral health care.
