Oral Situation with Sjogren’s

June 13, 2024

Objectives
Sjogren’s Disease (SjD) is an overlooked, frequently mis-diagnosed auto-immune disease that deserves more than a multiple-choice question as to what causes dry mouth. In addition to “busting” several myths about SjD, ways to make the mouth less dry, less prone to dental decay, and to distinguish various auto-immune diseases intra-orally will be presented.

Objectives:
1) To clarify various conundrums of Sjogren’s Disease,
2) To introduce Hydrostomia with tricks and tips to moisten the mouth, and
3) To present some “Black Magic” for your patients’ well-being.
