Queen’s University Invites Health Care Workers to Participate in National Well-Being Survey

Dental hygienists and other health care professionals across Canada are invited to participate in a Queen’s University research study examining the factors affecting health care workers’ well-being.

Led by Dr. Megan Edgelow and the Work and Mental Health Lab at Queen’s University, the study, Factors Affecting Health Care Workers’ Well-Being in Canada, aims to better understand the workplace challenges and stressors affecting health care professionals in the post-pandemic environment.

The research will explore opportunities to improve workplace support, identify effective interventions and develop recommendations that could help inform organizational policies, workplace practices and national standards supporting health care worker well-being.

Participate in the Survey

Health care workers across Canada are encouraged to share their experiences through a national survey.

Participation is voluntary, anonymous and confidential, and the survey takes approximately 20–30 minutes to complete.

Participation will not affect employment, professional standing or relationships with employers. Employers and supervisors will not know who has participated.

The study has received ethical approval from the Queen’s University Health Sciences and Affiliated Teaching Hospitals Research Ethics Board.
