For Dental Hygiene Practice Owners
BCDHA recommends that dental hygiene practice owners review their business or Commercial General Liability insurance to confirm their coverage for business interruption, loss of income and staff-related costs in the event they are required to evacuate.
If you are unclear or have questions about your coverage, check directly with your insurance provider, as policies and coverage vary. Keep a copy of your policy and your insurer’s phone number and email address handy.
You should also have a plan to keep client personal and health information and business records safe in the event your practice is impacted.
