Volunteer Recognition

This National Volunteer Week the BCDHA is celebrating our volunteers, past and present, for their invaluable contributions to our organization! We recognize the impact that volunteers bring to the dental hygiene community through their time and commitment. Our volunteers exemplify professionalism, benevolence, and the spirit of community.  

With the dedication of our volunteers, BCDHA has a voice in regions across the province, in education, and in clinics, helping to advance scope of practice, our body of knowledge, and our professional identity in a member-led direction. Ultimately, it is the public benefit from our dental hygienists coming together and working collaboratively. 

It is with deepest gratitude that BCDHA recognizes our volunteers not only this week, but for all the 60 years that the BCDHA has been in operation. Thank you to our amazing volunteers!
