Director — Community/Rural/Remote (2025-2028)
Natasha Kellett has over 30 years of experience in dentistry. Since becoming a dental hygienist in 2012, Natasha has built a well-rounded career, encompassing roles in private practice, public health, community dental clinics, independent dental hygiene, and volunteer work with dental charities. She has worked in a variety of settings, ranging from urban centers to remote and rural communities across the province. Currently, Natasha lives on Haida Gwaii, where she owns and operates an independent dental hygiene practice providing vital preventive oral health care to underserved populations.
Throughout her career, Natasha has been a passionate advocate for respectful and equitable access to dental hygiene services, particularly in BC’s remote and rural areas. She has worked diligently as a primary healthcare provider, breaking down barriers to ensure that everyone has access to the oral health care services they need, regardless of location.
Natasha has contributed to the dental profession as a volunteer on various BCDHA committees, and as a member of the Advisory Group for the National Network of Health Care Hygienists. In addition to authoring articles for Oral Health Magazine and Oh Canada! Magazine, Natasha has been recognized for her contributions to the profession as a recipient of BCDHA’s Barbara J. Heisterman Award, and CDHA’s Dental Hygiene Superhero Award. She is honoured to serve on the BCDHA Board of Directors on behalf of the dental hygiene profession in BC.
