Meet Jennifer Kwon

BCDHA Board of Director Elections (At-Large)

My passion and commitment to promote oral health and improve the quality of life of the public was demonstrated through my 14 years of dental hygiene practice and three years of teaching dental hygiene in B.C. During that time, I tried to stay up to date on the latest advancements in the field through continuing education.

Currently I am doing a doctoral degree in dental education at the University of British Columbia. I am genuinely interested in improving the quality of our dental hygiene education, dental education, and improving dental hygiene care overall.

As a director of BCHDA, I envision that I would be able to shape the future of dental hygiene and make a positive impact on the profession and the communities it serves. Furthermore, as a director of BCDHA board, I would like to advocate for the members to ensure that dental hygienists are recognized as the key member of the healthcare team.
